i’m doing a poster for my Art class. I’m very inspired by s. Hansen. – ISO50,
Good my problem is this: i’m trying to figure out how to achieve the forms used in these next designs. Ex. I actually like the circular typ design,

Unless you have a tablet to scribble on, these shapes can be hard to freehand in a computer.
If I were to make these designs I would first sketch it out on paper exactly how I wanted it to look, then I would scan that image and trace it with the pen tool to convert it to a vector graphic. Tracing is a lot easier than freehand.
If you have access to a Macromedia Flash program, I would again suggest sketching your design out on paper and scanning it in.
But this time instead of using the pen tool, use a Flash feature called “Trace Bitmap”. This will automatically convert your scan into a vector graphic.
And it’s really neat, because you can adjust how tight or loose Flash will stick to your lines.
