Really great shot., great contrast range & colour.
You must be pleased with your A630.
One totally nit picking thing, since you have Photoshop, I’d have a go at fixing what looks like a small spot of Chromatic Aberration, cyan color fringing.

CC – Thanx for the tip, I’ve looked at the second shot that I got of this fellow and I Think That the colouring of the rock is actually natural, it appeares to have been discoloured from the water.
But I will give your tip a try and see what I can do.

I like the perspective very much–the tilt (as perceived via orientation of the water surface) is a wonderful and very effective element that creates subtle tension in the lizard’s position and transforms the rock into something new.
